Acceptable Use Policy

What you may not store or share with Media Moana, how reports about shared albums are handled, and what happens to accounts that break these rules.
Responsible Use
Use Media Moana lawfully. This policy is part of our Terms of Service, and it applies to everything you upload, keep and share with it, and to how you use the service itself.
What You May Not Upload or Share
Child sexual abuse material, or anything that sexualizes or exploits a child.
Intimate or sexual images of a person without their consent.
Content that is illegal where you are, or that promotes violence, terrorism or harm to people.
Photos you have no right to — someone else's work, used without a license or permission that covers it.
Files made to harm computers or the people who open them.
Sharing
Do not use shared albums to distribute anything this policy prohibits.
Do not share private photos of a person in a way that breaks their privacy rights where you are.
Invite only people who would expect to hear from you: do not use the invitations Media Moana emails for you to send unsolicited mail, to people you do not know, or to advertise. When several of an account's invitations are reported as spam or bounce, its invitations are turned off until support turns them back on; an account that does any of this may be suspended, which turns its links and their invitations off.
Anyone who views a shared album can report it to us. Do not report albums in bad faith.
AI Actions
Use AI actions only on photos you have the right to edit.
Do not pass off a restored, colorized, upscaled or cut-out photo as an unedited original where that matters — as news, as evidence, or to deceive someone about a real person or event.
Security
Do not probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the service without our permission.
Do not try to reach other people's photos, albums or account data, or to guess album links.
Report a suspected security problem to security@mediamoana.com.
Fair Use
Media Moana keeps photos: it accepts image files only, and is not a store for anything else.
Do not open several accounts to get around a plan's limits, or run automated tools that upload, download or request pages at a rate that slows the service down for others.
How We Handle Abuse
Anyone who views a shared album can report it, and we review every report. When an album breaks this policy we may turn its link off at once, or suspend the account that shared it, which turns all of its links off.
We report child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and suspend the account that holds it.
We may suspend or close an account for a serious or repeated breach, with or without notice depending on how serious it is, and we report illegal content to the authorities where the law requires.
