Album template
Film
The album plays itself.
Choose Film for an album you share, and the link opens as a slideshow: full screen, one photo at a time, in the order you gave them. The people you send it to don't scroll or sign up — they watch.
What visitors get
- Opens
- Full screen, on the first photo. The album's title stands in while it loads.
- Pace
- Six seconds a photo by default — or four, or ten, as you set it.
- Transition
- A slow push-in or drift and a soft fade into the next by default — or the fade alone, or a straight cut.
- Subtitles
- Your captions along the bottom of the screen, if you turn them on and show captions to visitors.
- Sound
- None. It plays muted, wherever it is opened.
- Control
- Space pauses, the arrow keys or a swipe go back and forward, and Esc closes it.
- The end
- A card with the album's title — and your name, if you have set one — then the whole album to browse; or, if you choose, the film again from the start.
- Less motion
- On a device set to reduce motion, the photos only fade from one to the next, whichever transition you chose.
- Loading
- A few photos at a time as it plays, at the size of the screen — never the whole album at once.
Make yours
Upload a shoot — a whole folder from your card, RAW files and all.
Make it an album, or gather the photos that belong in it.
Share it, and choose Film under Template. The people you send it to need no app and no account.
Other ways to show an album
- Gallery — the default
The cover, then every photo in rows. Visitors can press Play for a slideshow.
- Contact Sheet
Every photo the same size and numbered, like a film contact sheet, with the highlights circled. Prints on A4 or Letter.
- Story
A long page in chapters by day and place, the photos in ones, twos and threes, your captions as quotes.
